Griffith’s ‘Innovative’ MBA Program Shortlisted for Reimagine Education Awards

Griffith University’s Accelerated Online MBA (Master of Business Administration) program has recently been shortlisted for the prestigious 2017 Wharton-QS Stars Reimagine Education Awards, under the ‘MBA & Executive Education Award’ category.

With the finalists set to be announced on November 27 and the overall winners to be unveiled at the Reimagine Education Awards and Conference at Wharton University, Philadelphia between December 4-5, the next month will be an exciting time for Griffith.

Speaking about the nomination, Professor Nick Barter, Academic Director of Griffith Online said “Once more, Griffith’s MBA has been acknowledged by the prestigious Reimagine Education Awards which showcase innovation in education on a world stage”.

“This represents sustained recognition of the collaborative and supportive digital learning environment in which our sophisticated MBA program is delivered.

This nomination follows other recent successes for the ground-breaking program.

The MBA program finished 16th overall in the Corporate Knights Better World MBA ranking in October and number one overall for the Asia-Pacific region. Two months earlier in August, a team from the Griffith MBA finished 7th place in the Global Business Challenge for their sustainable solution to the ‘fossil-fuels to renewable energy’ issue.

Associate Professor Chris Fleming, Griffith MBA Director, warmly welcomed news of the Reimagine Education Awards shortlisting.

“We continue to meet the demands of the 21st century MBA student through flexibility in terms of delivery and innovation in terms of the digital resources that students can access,” he remarked.

“Griffith University offers a world-class MBA program and it is fitting we are recognised in this kind of global education setting.”
