Griffith MBA retains Tier One position with CEO Magazine
Griffith University has maintained its Tier One ranking in the CEO Magazine’s 2020 Global Online MBA rankings for another year in a row, with its 21st-century business focused online MBA. One of just 11 Australian universities to receive the title, the Griffith online MBA ranked fourth in Australia and 16th globally.
Retaining the position for another year demonstrates how Griffith’s online program delivers an MBA that is not only responsible, ethical and sustainable but continues to meet student’s rapidly changing needs, according to MBA Program Director Associate Professor Stephanie Schleimer.
“We understand our students are incredibly busy in their professional and personal lives so our ‘fully flexible’ MBA aims to create a rich and meaningful learning journey with maximum flexibility,” says Professor Schleimer.
“We aim to teach students how to turn common good practices into innovative, strategic practices that set their businesses apart.”
The CEO Magazine Global Online MBA rankings highlight schools that exhibit high quality and a strong return on investment for students. By analysing the learning environment, class sizes, fees, faculty and delivery methods, the CEO Magazine’s Global MBA Rankings are an important fact-based tool to measure MBA offerings around the world.

The Global MBA rankings by CEO Magazine have been released annually since 2012, and in 2020 reached 161 schools across the globe including in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
The accolade follows a successful year for the Griffith MBA, with the 2019 Corporate Knights Top 40 Better World MBA Ranking in which Griffith was ranked fifth globally and first in Australia and the 2019 AFR BOSS MBA Rankings which awarded Griffith fifth position in the country.
