Griffith MBA program amongst Top 5 in Australia
Griffith University’s MBA program has bolstered its reputation as one of the best in Australia, retaining its #4 position in the 2017 MBA Rankings by the Australian Financial Review’s highly regarded BOSS Magazine. This survey, conducted every two years, covers 15 MBA programs from the country’s leading universities, with scores based on responses from alumni (55%) and the schools themselves (45%).
Alumni responses indicated they highly valued Griffith’s focus on developing their awareness and ability to consider corporate, environmental, social and governance issues as a cohesive whole; scoring the program well above average on this measure.
The former students also identified the program’s focus on developing strategic thinking skills as a key strength, as well as the quality of interaction between students and staff.
“What is particularly pleasing about this ranking is that it is largely based on the feedback of our recent alumni and therefore is a reflection of the experience we are able to deliver to our students,” said Associate Professor Chris Fleming, Director of Griffith’s MBA program.
“This result is a testament to the incredible efforts of those involved in delivering the Griffith MBA program from an administrative and academic perspective.”
Built on the values of sustainable business practices, responsible leadership and an Asia-Pacific perspective, the Griffith MBA enables graduates to do business successfully in the 21st century.
Pro Vice Chancellor (Business), Professor David Grant, said the ranking was a reflection of those strong pillars.
“It’s a program that taps into the key issues and challenges that are at the forefront of business minds.”
