Griffith amongst the world’s top 3% of universities

With the release of the prestigious 2016 Academic World Rankings, Griffith University has confirmed its position amongst the world’s top 3% of Universities.

Since first being ranked by the ARWU in 2011, Griffith has moved to 318th climbing an impressive 45 positions in the last 12 months.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian O'Connor stated Griffith's continued rise in the rankings is a reflection of the University’s dedication to world-class research and teaching.

"Griffith has improved its ranking every year in recent times. This has come about through the sustained efforts of our staff along with substantial investments made in key research areas."

The ARWU is globally recognised as the premier rankings index for Universities.
